Meet the Man with the World’s Largest X-Men Collection

Back in the ’80s and ’90s, the X-Men were by far Marvel’s most popular characters. Even before the mutant heroes and villains made their way to the big screen, the X-Men carved out their place in the hearts of fans. For one fan in particular, collecting the X-Men has become a driving passion. Now, Eric Jaskolka has been officially recognized by Guinness as the owner of the biggest X-Men memorabilia collection in the world.

Via Comic Book Resources, the Guinness World Records YouTube channel profiled Jaskolka and his collection. Guinness also convinced Jaskolka to wear a Wolverine costume in honor of his favorite X-Men character. Long-time fans of the franchise should be able to recognize the majority of the items in Jaskolka’s collection, including the early Toy Biz figures. But perhaps the most impressive part of the collection are the one-of-a-kind prototypes and the items that were distributed to the crew of the X-Men movies.

Additionally, Jaskolka proudly pointed out a Wolverine figure that his son made for him, and another toy that his wife had a hand in creating. When it comes to enjoying the X-Men, it’s a family affair for Jaskolka and his loved ones. And he seems to be eager to pass that love on to his children as well.
