You’ve heard him on the Nerdist Podcast. And now you can see Joseph Gordon-Levitt make his directorial debut in Don Jon, a film which he also wrote and in which he stars alongside Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Tony Danza, Brie Larson, and more. JGL plays Don Jon, a modern day Don Juan and meathead who suffers from a crippling porn addiction and a deep, resounding sense of emptiness in his life. A pitch-black comedy tinged with moments of genuine honesty, Don Jon finds Gordon-Levitt taking on the role of a gym rat Jersey Shore-style meathead and digging deeper than the spray-tanned exterior.
