KRISTEN BELL Interviews Animal Actors for NETFLIX

By this point, it’s well established that Kristen Bell pairs well with adorable animals. Fortunately for all of us, Netflix took notice and gave her the gig of a lifetime: an exclusive interview with some of its original programming’s best, brightest, and four-leggedest stars.

It was the cat’s meow (I make no a-paw-logies) to get some insight from Stranger Things breakout Mews (spoiler alert: he’s both alive and flipping his tail!) on his approach to performing…

…and somewhat tragic to see Bell thwarted in her attempt to get the Corgis from The Crown to autograph an 8.5″ x 11″ for her. (There are a lot of good one-liners and turns of phrase packed into this brief clip, but Bell’s defeated “They say never meet your heroes” is my pick for the best.)

Other interviewees included Kitty and Bunny of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt fame, the eponymous Benji from the latest iteration of … Benji, and Fuller House’s Cosmo, who spends some quality time with Bell post-interview to get caught up on BoJack Horseman.

And hey, credit to whoever wrote this video for not calling Mr. Peanutbutter a Golden—he is, as we were reminded repeatedly when he and Diane visited his brother on the Labrador Peninsula in season three, a Labrador. (Also, if featuring a BoJack clip in a Kristen Bell-centric spot was an intentional Easter egg for fans of her single appearance on the show in a gutting season four episode … well played, Netflix.)

Here’s hoping this turns into a series, thus forcing Netflix to include house pets in all their original programming.

Which animal actor do you most want to interview? What would you ask? Let us know in the comments!
