The temperatures across the country may be dropping (unless you live somewhere like the perpetually pleasant Los Angeles), but the box office is heating up, especially as Disney’s Frozen hits theaters this Wednesday. The first post-2D animation Disney Princess feature is an absolute delight as Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and company deliver up a supremely memorable, heartfelt, and genuinely funny animated musical. After the razzle-dazzle of the stunning visual effects work had passed, I found myself wanting to dive deeper into the film with the stars themselves, so you know what? I did. For those of you who won’t be seeing Josh Brolin stay at the world’s worst hotel this weekend, do yourself a favor and check out my interviews with Bell, Menzel, and Gad. Oh, and pour yourself a cup of hot cocoa while you’re at it. You’ve earned it.
