Kids Assemble in an Adorable Parody of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Everyone needs a break — even superheroes. Avengers: Age of Ultron saw some new members assist the team, but we have a better idea. Give all of them a day off and let these kids save the day because they are the most precious and also funnier than Ultron thinks he is. A new parody from DreamWorksTV and uh, “Not Marvel Studios” takes the epic battle to the school yard in Kid Avengers: A Little Age of Ultron. See, it’s not the world-ending doom and gloom age of Ultron. No, it’s just a tiny, classroom-sized one.

The parody written by Alex Hoffman and directed by Éli Sokhn does a hilarious job of pointing out some of the more convoluted points of the second Avengers film from Marvel. The movie is sort of all over the place and overloaded with action, and the ensemble cast has too many players. These kids call it how it is and stop the action to ask who’s fighting who. They also drop some other truths about the confusion surrounding Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver and about the lack of female superhero-led films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: “Why are boys the only ones who get movies?” Word. Look, the world needs a Black Widow film. Bonus: The pint-sized actors portraying Earth’s Smallest Heroes have pretty great comedic timing.

If you need more of kids being awesome, watch DreamWorksTV’s parody of Furious 7:

Best or BEST? I now require one of these trailers for every film.
