For the last 13 years, the Teen Titans have largely been known for their two kid-friendly animated series on Cartoon Network. But this spring, the Teen Titans are coming to DCâs older-skewing animated universe in Justice League vs. Teen Titans.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the first image from Justice League vs. Teen Titans, and announced the voice cast as well. Sean Maher and Stuart Allan will reprise their respective roles as Nightwing and Robin from three of the most recent Batman animated films. Kari Wahlgren recently had a vocal cameo as Starfire in Batman: Bad Blood, and she will make her full debut in this movie. American Horror Story veteran Taissa Farmiga will play Raven, alongside Jake T. Austin as Blue Beetle and Brandon Soo Hoo as Beast Boy. Shemar Moore is also reprising his role as Cyborg.
As for the Justice League, Jerry OâConnell will voice Superman, with Jason OâMara as Batman, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, and Christopher Gorham as the Flash.
Former Walking Dead star (and future Punisher on Daredevil season two) Jon Bernthal is also a part of the Justice League vs. Teen Titans voice cast. Heâll be playing Trigon, Ravenâs demonic father who possesses the Justice League and forces them to fight their younger counterparts on the Teen Titans.
Comic book veteran Bryan Q. Miller and Alan Burnett (Batman: The Animated Series) co-wrote the Justice League vs. Teen Titans movie, which will be directed by Sam Liu with character designs by Phil Bourassa.
Batman: Bad Blood will include a preview of Justice League vs. Teen Titans when it hits Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, February 2nd. A release date for Justice League vs. Teen Titans hasnât been announced yet.
