In 2016, Pokemon GO was all the rage. It got people up and moving. It spawned thousands of meetups. You can go on YouTube right now and watch videos of swarms of people running with their phones to capture a rare Pokemon. To capitalize on this idea, of running after creatures, the new Jurassic World Alive mobile game lets you run after and catch massive dinosaurs.
Reported by Mashable, the game is now available on iOS and Android. Jurassic World Alive gives fans the same feel of Pokemon GO, except instead of capturing cute little critters to battle in cartoonish fights, you are going after the most dangerous creatures on the planet, which you can train to build up your strike team to fight other players’ teams.
The game has a similar map system to Pokemon GO as well, and you can capture dinosaurs ranging from common, rare, or epic. We assume the rarer or more epic the find, the more powerful beast you have for your strike team. Wouldn’t finding ANY dinosaur be epic, though?
They say that popular things come in waves. From the latest toy to diet craze, things have a tendency to come and go pretty quickly. One thing that has never seemed to change over the years? People LOVE dinosaurs, regardless of the source. Jurassic World Alive looks to add to that tradition.
Will Jurassic World Alive give you the ambition to start getting your steps in again? How many of you also think “Jurassic” has two r’s? Let us know on Facebook or sound off in the comments below.
