wow! Between Jonah and Neil this episode was a Hipster Galore. So fucking funny when Sean ask Jonah why he doesn’t like the Distillers and Jonah response is “because of their fans”. Nice reason for not liking a band Jonah. Hahaha! Then when Sean is going about how good of an album “…And Out Come the Wolves” is Neail reply that he finds himself going back to Operation Ivy. The stereotypical hipster response, “I just like the thing that it’s more obscure than the thing you like”. Hipsters say the darndest things. 😉
Definitely the best music ever played on an episode so far. I wish he could be the guest every week. I’m listening to some Sean Na Na as I type this.
All those songs from Sean Tillmann’s different bands were really good and he sounds like a cool dude. Can’t believe I didn’t knew who he was. First time I can listen to an episode without skipping most of the awful songs.
By the way, I have met Tim Armstrong twice and he was very nice to everyone both times.
The song mentioned by Jonah around the 20 minute mark could be Photograph by Def Leppard. The lyric “I wanna touch you” could fit that description.
