Join the Network in New SHERLOCK App Game

Today in the U.K. and next Monday, January 27th, in the U.S., you can become part of the world of the greatest living sleuth with a new Sherlock app for iOS. Entitled Sherlock: The Network, the game will allow you to act as a new member of Sherlock Holmes’ famed homeless network, and you’ll be able to assist in mysteries by picking up clues, deducing things, and generally getting really good at solving crimes.

The most awesome feature of this app is that Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Mark Gatiss, and others have filmed special pieces especially for the game, in which they’re speaking directly to you as their characters from the series. It will let you feel like you’re actually hanging out at 221B Baker Street.

No word yet as to when or if the app will become available for Android, but I can’t imagine they wouldn’t make one for it after a fashion. For iStuff users out there, though, you have merely a week to wait for your chance to say Sherlock Holmes talked to you, and you helped him solve a case. Pretty durn cool. What do you think? Will you download it? Talk about it below!
