Jimmy McGill is NOT Ready to Atone In This New BETTER CALL SAUL Teaser

It’s 2002 and Jimmy McGill is not having any of it. But you probably knew that already, considering how well you all know Jimmy McGill. You don’t know Jimmy McGill, you say? Why of course you do — you just don’t even realize it. That’s because later in life you knew him in his truest form: Saul Goodman.

Yup, that’s the one! And Breaking Bad‘s favorite comedic force is the frontman to that series’ spin-off prequel dramedy (say that five times fast), Better Call Saul. After waiting what has felt like a veritable eternity (give or take a couple millennia) AMC—by way of Vulture —has finally given us the best gift of all: a new trailer for the no-good, dirty li’l lawyer that could parade. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeere’s JIMMY!

So one thing feels safe to assume about the series after watching that: we’re going to get a heck of a lot more of Saul Goodman’s origin story than we ever thought possible. A very exciting prospect indeed—particularly for those of you out there in the world that are into lying, cheating, hyperbolic courtroom ruminations, kidnapping, trash can-kicking and just generally no-good, very-bad behavior from the men and women assigned with bringing the gauntlet down on the just side of the law. So, you know: good TV times! And, as evidenced by that beginning freak-out, the comedy is going to be dark. And angry! But that makes for bombastic things, and well—who doesn’t like a lil bombast? (Nobody, that’s who!)

Are you excited about the premiere of Better Call Saul on February 8th? Let us know in the comments.
