Jason Silva Gives Us a Positive Spin on an Existential Bummer

Our pal and incredibly thoughtful fella Jason Silva is back with another of his Shots of Awe, this one regarding the idea of the impermanence of beauty and how things we love will decay and die. Uplifting, huh? Well, Jason’s got another way to look at what he calls the ultimate “Existential Bummer.” Positive spin, people!

You can watch more of Jason’s nuggets of philosophical ecstasy on his channel, Shots of Awe, or on his brand new AOL program, The Future of Us, which discusses just what you’d think it would. Watch a few of these in a row and your brain will be tired from activity, in the best way.

This young man is an insightful, brilliant, creative, reflective, inspired and inspiring, authentic thinker…I can vouch for that because i am his mother, and these concerns that he so eloquently articulates at the age of 31, were his concerns since he was 8 years old when he turned around when we were resting together and, said, “Linda, promise me that you will never die.” He is one of my two life blessings. He and his brothers rock my soul….bravo Jason.
