Jared Leto and Mark Ruffalo Went Incognito at New York Comic Con

After Bryan Cranston famously went to San Diego Comic-Con as Walter White in 2013, you’d think the world would be on the lookout for more stars going incognito… but alas, this weekend Jared Leto and Mark Ruffalo showed up at New York Comic Con in disguises and fooled everyone!

Leto wore a mandrill mask, which is a type of baboon similar to Rafiki from The Lion King. Ruffalo went as a creepy Luigi (from Super Mario) with a baseball cap. The two actors posed with unassuming fans, including a cosplaying Joker, which is pretty great considering that Leto plays The Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad. They documented their adventures on Twitter and Instagram, and it’s a great sight to see, even in pictures.

That’s Ruffalo’s son, having a grand old time with his dad. Awww.

We can’t help but wonder how many other stars didn’t reveal their disguises… and I suppose the possibilities are endless. Jeez, is that the only place they can walk around unnoticed? It’s kind of a scary thought.

Leto’s Suicide Squad opens in theaters in August 2016, and Ruffalo’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is currently circulating on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Were you at New York Comic Con? Did you see Leto and Ruffalo in these disguises? We want to hear about it in the comments below!
