James Corden’s CARPOOL KARAOKE Made a Christmas Medley Of Mariah Carey Magic

There’s no doubt in our minds that the Carpool Karaoke segments on The Late Late Show with James Corden has earned its rightful place as one of the best bits throughout the history of late night TV. Bringing together stars from all over to do something so damn relatable as singing along to music while driving is a brilliant recipe for success and one that Corden has been serving up on his show in delightful ways.

Last year, Corden had been compiling a medley of “Joy to the World” with the guests over the entire season that made for a star-studded sing-a-long that really couldn’t be beat. That is, of course, until this year’s where Corden went with the nuclear option of Christmas songs; Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

The segment begins with Mariah’s Christmas wish to hear her song be sung by James who is happy to oblige. This alone would be a great segment but it only gets better as it switches to other stars like Elton John, Adele, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Chris Martin, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gwen Stefani, and Nick Jonas belting out the tune. Even if you’re one of the few people who doesn’t exactly enjoy “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, it’s hard to deny how infectiously fun this medley is and one needs only to look at the the genuine joy on each performer’s face as proof. James Corden has certainly done it again with a successful holiday sing-a-long and we find ourselves almost a bit worried about what he could possibly do in 2017 since he raised the bar so high this year.

What stars would you love to see sing this holiday tune? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
