Usually, we find ourselves wondering where in the world is Carmen Sandiego, but ever since production has kicked into high gear on the twenty-fourth James Bond film, we’ve found ourselves more interested in 007’s whereabouts. We know very little about the production so far apart from that Hoyte van Hoytema will be taking over for Roger Deakins as cinematographer. Well, thankfully, production leaks are easy to come by these days, even when they pertain to black ops extravaganzas like Bond 24. It appears that Bond, James Bond is filming his latest cinematic adventure in Rome, of all places!
The news comes courtesy of the Emilia Clarke-starring Voice From The Stone, an independent film also shooting at Rome’s Cinecittà Studios. Filming in Rome is a first for the Bond franchise, but you know what else would be a first? The Mother of Dragons herself making a cameo, perhaps, as a criminal mastermind or a female agent giving Bond a run for his money. Not saying, but just saying, Sam Mendes–the ball is now in your court.

I’m glad to see Daniel Craig is still James Bond; it lends the kind of continuity we came to expect during the Sean Connery/Roger Moore/Pierce Brosnan eras
