Every year, Comedy Central gives out a few handfuls (or handful or maybe less, depending on the size of the hand and what you consider the size of a comedy special would be to fit in one’s hand) of half hour stand up specials, appropriately titled The Half Hour. As of late, the comedians getting those half hour specials have been getting consistently better, with the likes of Jonah Ray, Sean Patton, Nikki Glaser, Jared Logan, Mike Lawrence, and Cristela Alonzo taping for Comedy Central just last year.

This year is no different, with another really solid line-up, top to bottom, of 15 comedians, some of whom are so great that they deserve a comedy special longer than the 22 minutes that will air.  All of you should get especially excited that Chris Gethard, Kurt Braunohler, Fortune Feimster, Ron Funches, and more who are often featured here at Nerdist are on this list below and will be taping in Boston late next month (Source: Splitsider).
