It’s a Brand New PEANUTS Trailer, Charlie Brown!

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, even holiday vacations. With the first full week of January upon us, we must all now return to life as it was. Luckily the transition won’t be too harsh as this first week of January kicks off an amazing year of movies that we’re sure are going to deliver in some epic ways. While perhaps not as mind-boggling as Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars: The Force Awkaens, there’s one franchise reboot we can honestly say we’re truly excited for: Peanuts. And now, Fox has released a new-ish trailer:

Okay, so essentially this new trailer is just a variation of the holiday one we saw last month with a new opening attached to Snoopy’s plane ride as the Red Baron through Paris. However, even if some of the footage is stuff we’ve already seen before, we still like what we see. Some may argue against transitioning the Peanuts gang into a CGI environment, but it seems clear the filmmakers got much of the essence of the franchise right.

In a year full of sequels and reboots, this one’s definitely at the top of a must-see list for us because anything that puts Peanuts back in the mainstream is A-OK in our book.

The Peanuts Movie hits theaters November 6, 2015.

If there’s no football scene, I will be highly disappointed…

“Snoopy’s plane ride as the Red Baron.” Ooookay, so does the person writing this post even know the source material? Snoopy isn’t the Red Baron… just FYI.

I will be honest, I watched Peanuts when I was a kid (I’m not a die hard Peanuts fan, but I’m familiar with the material) and I can see someone missing that Snoopy is flying against the Red Baron. Heck, I wasn’t too clear about it when I was a kid. Good grief, cut ’em some slack.
