IT’s Losers Club Shares What Scares Them (Besides Pennywise)

Stephen King’s classic supernatural horror novel It is all about fear. Fear of bullies, fear of being different… and the fear of an ancient evil taking the form of everything that scares you and feeding on your fear. And in Andy Muschietti’s amped up adaptation of the killer clown story, the Losers Club — a group of kids who band together to save their small town from the demonic beast — feels the full force of It’s powers.

Just before the premiere of the new film, Nerdist’s resident horror expert Clarke Wolfe sat down with stars Jaeden Lieberher (Bill), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ben), Sophia Lillis (Beverly), Stranger Things‘ Finn Wolfhard (Richie), Chosen Jacobs (mike), Jack Dylan Grazer (Eddie), and Wyatt Oleff (Stanley) to talk about what scares them. And since one of It‘s major strengths lies in the cast’s chemistry and humor (all on full display here), we also had to find out what it was like shooting such a fun — and scary — movie.

Are you brave enough to face Pennywise the Clown? Let us know in the comments below.

It hits theaters on September 9, 2017.
