During Comic-Con, the war to end all wars took place: the battle over which internet media team was the best laser tag competitor, Nerdist or Rocket Jump. It started when our Editor in Chief, Brian Walton, ate the wrong box of leftovers from the communal fridge, but things really escalated when game time finally arrived. In the end, Nerdist dominated the competition over our office-mates… or did we? It wasnât long after the battle that the leader of RocketJumpâs opposition, Jake Andrews, learned something interesting: there was a glitch in the system that proved Freddie Wong and co. actually won the match. Who knew Nerdist Newsâ Jessica Chobot was so sinister? Sorry, what we mean to say is who didnât know that she was so sinister? Thereâs literally a stack of files on her desk labeled âevil plans to take over the world with kittens.â Kittens, guys. Kittens. How more evil can one be? Though, it is kind of hard to be evil when you can be taken out so easily by a conveniently placed banana peel.
