With a little over a year to go before the release of Joss Whedon’s highly anticipated sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, principal photography has gotten underway, and today, we have some leaked set photos of the filming taking place in Italy. Among the gems from a gallery of nearly 30 photos are some looks at Jeremy Renner in a Hawkeye uniform, Aaron Johnson as Quicksilver, and, wait for it, a (possible) first look at the man of the hour, Ultron.
If this is indeed our Ultron, itâs nice to see there will be a blend of both practical effects and CGI used to bring the maniac robot to life, similar to the way Robert Downey Jr.âs Iron Man was first brought to life in 2008 and beyond.
Weâre very far away from any kind of first footage looks, but already this movie seems massive, and it looks good. May 2015 canât get here fast enough.

This is clearly a stand-in actor to just give the actors something to play to. The real one will definitely be CGIed. It’s pretty clear by the black pants, gloves and sneakers.
They need to stop wasting time and just make the Scarlet Spider movie were all waiting for. #BenReilly
From what I can tell, it looks like Quicksilver will have silver/grey hair after all, despite the earlier concept art. Definitely excited to see this!
It looks like Ultron has been putting up some Serious numbers on the ole’ adamantium peck deck.
