Is SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Introducing Shocker?

Labor Day Weekend may have come and gone, but we’re still full of summertime joy here at Movie Morsels. Especially today, since we have what might be the first images of one of Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s villains. Plus, the latest videos from the set of Transformers: The Last Knight, some intriguing rumors about the future of James Bond, and much more!

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Okay, now it’s possible this is all just an elaborate hoax, but it looks just a little too authentic to be otherwise. Photos from what many believe to be the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming have arrived online, and they feature one of the film’s new baddies: the sinister Shocker. If these are authentic, the character’s appearance in the film—in which he’s rumored to be played by Bokeem Woodbine—comes pretty close to that of his original comic book incarnation (pictured at the top of this page). See for yourself…

Transformers: The Last Knight

Michael Bay just couldn’t be prouder of his new custom-made handheld RED “Bayhem” camera. The director has released a new video from the set of his latest (and final) Transformers movie, featuring lots of people doing what Americans do best on a holiday weekend: blowin’ stuff up real good!

Here’s another view of the destruction, from Slashfilm’s Ethan Anderton…

And here’s some photos from the film’s London set of new cast member Laura Haddock (of Guardians of the Galaxy fame) and the all-new Bumblebee…

Spectre-review-110315

After saying he’d rather slash his wrists than play 007 again, is it possible that Daniel Craig could actually come back for more superspy hijinks? According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the actor has been offered 200 million dollars to reprise his best known role in two additional films. In any case, Spectre director Sam Mendes has also stated he won’t return, though it’s unlikely he’ll be courted by Sony in quite the same manner.

Anon
Amanda Seyfried and Clive Owen’s new sci-fi thriller Anon is currently shooting on the streets of New York, and a handful of set photos have started appearing online. Directed by Andrew Niccol, the film is set in a crime-free utopia/dystopia, with Owen playing a detective and Seyfried playing a mystery woman who enters his life.

Life on the Line

Finally today, we have the new trailer for John Travolta and Kate Bosworth’s latest, Life on the Line. The film centers around a group of Texas power line workers battling to save an electrical grid in the midst of a deadly storm. Could the David Hackl-directed movie prove to be another Backdraft? Or perhaps The Perfect Storm?
