It’s finally here. The day you’ve decided to get your first tattoo has arrived. Maybe you’ve been inspired by the tattoos you’ve seen over the past two months in Inked Wednesday (please let me know if these round-ups have that effect on you!) or maybe you’ve been considering getting ink for a while. Once you know what art you want to permanently add to your body, ask friends for tattoo artist recommendations. Look at that person’s portfolio before booking a session. Visit the shop to make sure it appears clean. Ask all the questions you have and discuss as much detail about the piece as you want before you make your appointment.
