Summer is basically here. The weather is getting warmer, the sun feels like it’s shining brighter, etc. To that end, it’s important to keep your tattoos extra protected. If you don’t already wear sunscreen when you’re outside, be sure to take the time to apply it in general, but especially if you have tattoos. Cover them up with a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. I recommend going with a cream sunscreen rather than the spray-on variety because it lasts longer and doesn’t come off your skin quite as easily. Protecting your tattoos will help them retain color longer. It’s super important to baby fresh ink.
