Inked Wednesday #111 – A Demogorgon, STAR WARS Locales, and More Geeky Tattoos

We’re going to take a step into the Upside Down because one of our readers got an awesome Demogorgon tattoo—just maybe not exactly what you’re expecting. The creature featured in Stranger Things has its roots as a demon prince in Dungeons and Dragons. The being has two heads, and reader Heather recently immortalized him on her skin:

Next up, this is one of the most creative Star Wars tattoos I’ve had the pleasure of seeing. It focuses on locations from the original trilogy. The design is minimal and something I want as a print to hang on my wall.

But we’re not done yet! Keep on scrolling to the gallery below to see three specimens of gorgeous tattoos all belonging to the same person by the same tattooist. There’s a TARDIS from Doctor Who and a killer sci-fi spaceship sleeve—see how many ships you recognize.

If you have geeky tattoos on your skin or you’re a tattoo artist that applies pop culture, STEM, music, or other nerd-inspired ink on a regular basis, then please hit me up because I’d like to highlight you in a future Inked Wednesday gallery. You can get in touch with me via email at [email protected]. Send me photos of the tattoos you’d like me to feature and don’t forget to let me know the name of your tattoo artist if you have it, as well the name of the shop he or she works out of. If you are the tattoo artist, give me links to your portfolios and/or Instagram accounts so I can share them.
