Are you inked? When I go through the submissions for Inked Wednesday each week, I always wonder why the person chose not only to get permanent art added to his or her body but also about the specific tattoo art. I don’t question it in a judgmental way (though if you have a tattoo you have probably heard the condescending “why did you do that?” questions), I’m just curious. Every tattoo has a story. There’s a reason a certain franchise was chosen, and a reason a certain quote or character is featured in the art. If you have any friends with ink, go ahead and ask them about their tattoo stories.

My ‘inner armor’ by Spike @ Spike-o-matic Tattoo
The tmnt tattoo is Leonardo. In the original tmnt, all the brothers had the same color bandana, which was red. Weapons was the only way to tell them apart. The blue, orange, and purple were added for the cartoon in 1987.
