You think you get all the folds right, the thing sure looks like a paper airplane, and then you throw it. It does a somersault into the ground a few inches in front of you. It’s hard to build the perfect paper airplane, so let a 3D-printed automatic paper airplane gun do it for you!
Folding enthusiast “Papierfliegerei” shows us his childhood-enhancing creation in a short video. In the description he says that much of the gun was 3D printed, with a few pieces coming from the internet and hardware stores.
While the perfect paper crafts coming out the end of the gun at nearly one per second are impressive, the coolest part is seeing the gun’s inner workings. Inside is an origami assembly line, folding and bending away.
I’d like to see the muzzle velocity increase a bit before it hits the class clown and Dude Perfect circuit though.
