There are many things we love the Star Wars franchise for. From an ever expanding world full of magical creatures and mystical powers, to a plethora of immensely fleshed out, three dimensional characters, the Star Wars universe really is one to love. So of course, we also like engaging with it through clothing, posters, bed sheets and, most importantly, toys⦠especially toys.
Over the years, weâve seen Star Wars grow with the toy industry to the point where some of the early items are now more valuable than the trucks that transported them to the toy store in the first place. However, while weâve gotten a variety of options for Star Wars playthings over the years, even we never imagined things would come to this:
Yes, thatâs right, later this year weâre going to be getting a Chewbacca inspired Furby that sings the Star Wars theme⦠guys, this is red alert. From this point on, we are on lockdown. LOCKDOWN WE SAY!
Itâs cute, horrific, funny, and odd all at once⦠and we want to own one. Luckily, that wonât be much of a challenge as the new Furby is currently priced at $79.99 for its fall debut. In addition, youâll be able to feed, bathe and play with Furbacca via an iOS and Android app â which is apparently how all Furbys operate nowadays. Technology. Who knew?
The vine not enough, eh? Your nightmares are in luck… we have also have pictures:
Weâre just going to start lining up for this one now. See you guys in the fall!
Will you be buying a Furbacca? Let us know in the comments below.

i would love it! but the price is steep!
This has given me nightmares.
I’m a 90’s kid and my Furby scared the hell out of me, but I’m totally in love with Furbacca!!! I HAVE TO HAVE ONE!!!
Shut up and take my money!
My top price point would be about $29.99 as well. though I do want one to go next to my dancing Groot. It would also be fun to freak out people in the office using the remote app.
Sounds more like the Imperial March rather than the theme for Star Wars, #Sithbacca
For $29.99 I might have — for $79.99 I don’t think so. (I know the lifespan of a furby 🙂 ).
