How Big Does Batman’s Cape Need to Be?

I am vengeance, I am the night…I am a hanglider! Nope, that just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

In my latest Because Science, I’m calculating how big Batman’s cape needs to be to gracefully glide around Gotham. I’ll spare you the math, but if we assume Batman’s famous flying appendage puts him somewhere in between a wingsuit and a hang glider, then he’s effectively going to look like his own Bat-Signal up there.
