This installment of the Hound Tall Discussion Series is brought to you by DEATH!! That scary specter clicking its bony fingers together, waiting for us all. This month’s expert is Catlin Doughty, mortician, crematorium technician, and author of the new book Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, a memoir about her experience in the crematory trenches and advocating for death acceptance. Comedian guests are Kumail Nanjiani (HBO’s Silicon Valley and our own The Indoor Kids) and Chelsea Peretti (Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine). Its a hilarious and often disturbing look at our own mortality!

Oh my gosh STOP INTERRUPTING THE FRICKEN STORY!!!!!!!!!!! Everything they added was stupid and annoying!!!!!
Moshe, whats your chemistry with Kumail? Do you not like him or something? Is it a Jew Muslim thing?
That was about as funny as listening to a podcast while hiking gets. If I’d laughed any harder I’d fallen off the trail.
Regarding the zombies/armor question, I believe Max Brooks covered this in the Zombie Survival Guide. Basically, zombies go for flesh, so if you wore armor, you’d have to cover everything (no good wearing ballistic armor on your chest if your arms are exposed). If you wore enough armor to fully cover yourself, it would slow you down so much that the zombies would easily overwhelm you, pry off the armor, and dig in.That said, some good heavy leather over the arms, chest, and neck might buy you some time, so tank-tops probably aren’t the best idea.
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard and so much in within an hour! Such a great episode!
This was super fun except I wish you’d let Caitlin speak more about her experiences.
