Welcome to the Nerdist Podcast Network’s newest show, Moshe Kasher‘s Hound Tall. You’ve met Moshe before: He’s been on You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes not once but twice, and The Indoor Kids, and Making It, and he wrote the amazing memoir Kasher in the Rye: The True Tale of a White Boy from Oakland Who Became a Drug Addict, Criminal, Mental Patient, and Then Turned 16.
The show? It’s taped before a studio audience podcast at UCB Theater, and the idea is to take a single topic with a single expert and put it before a panel of comics. Simple, interesting, and funny. You’ll get new episodes on the first Thursday of every month.
For the inaugural episode, Moshe and guests Pete Holmes and Beth Stelling discuss life in the harem of the Sultan of Brunei with expert Jillian Lauren, author of Some Girls, My Life In A Harem. It gets creepy and sexy.

I was really interested in this podcast concept & topic. Unfortunately, if was more about trying to get cheap riffs and talking over the guest. Wish Pete would of just shut up for a minute and let her finish a gd sentence! Sheesh. /disappointed

This was funny as hell. “Pete fucks kids”, the Aladdin duet. and Beth’s “Pragmatic”. Hit all the notes, and Moshe doesn’t have Neal to keep him in check. Jillian was cool. Good things to come.
Love the concept, despised the “guest”. The entire show was a setup to push her book.
Love Moshe and Pete. This concept is solid too. But, man, please bring on better “experts”. I agree, total bimbo with bad life choices.
