It’s a brand new year, so that means we have a brand new crop of superhero movies to get hyped for! Before we look to the awesome future that awaits us with Black Panther and Infinity War, don’t you think it’s important to look back at what got us here in the first place? Hot Toys is here to help us reminisce with their latest figure, the Mark IV armor from Iron Man 2. Not only are they giving us the figure, but also the suit-up gantry!
The figure features a newly designed head sculpt of the man himself, Robert Downey, Jr. For all of you figures fans into super detail, the figure unfortunately does not actually have removable armor with Tony Stark in a tuxedo underneath. However, the detail of the figure and gantry itself are so good I think you’ll give it a pass.
Let’s be honest. While Iron Man didn’t invent the superhero pose, he certainly did perfect it. The figure comes with over 30 points of articulation, two pairs of interchangeable shoulder armor, three sets of hands, a pair of sunglasses, a box of (fake) donuts, and a cup of coffee.
