Hot Topic Releasing Elegant FANTASTIC BEASTS Fashion Collection

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the next film set in J.K. Rowling’s wide Wizarding World of Harry Potter, takes place long before the films we know. In the new five-film franchise, we’ll follow Newt Scamander and his adventures in New York during the 1920s. That time period means a certain aesthetic is present in the clothing, and Hot Topic is going all out to bring the fashion of Fantastic Beasts to life in a new limited edition collection.

Arriving to select Hot Topic retail stores and the web on November 8, the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them line is meant to emulate characters such as Scamander, Tina Goldstein, Queenie Goldstein, and Seraphina Picquery. In the case of Scamander, the blue tweed coat with monogrammed buttons and coat lining can be worn as outerwear or as straight up cosplay. Bonus: the coat has a long wand pocket so you can always be prepared.

Elsewhere in the collection, Hot Topic has two fancy flapper-style dresses that are deserving of jazz hands. They feature piping and embroidery and look quite detailed. (Check them out in our gallery below.)

Though we don’t have pictures of the rest of the collection just yet Hot Topic has just released new images of the line, which includes a Queenie Goldstein coat, a skater dress covered in symbols from the film, a Magical Congress of the USA (MACUSA) raglan, and other items. You can snag all of it from Hot Topic’s website starting today. Use some floo powder and head to the comments to tell me which pieces you have your eyes on.

Fantastic Beasts is just one of the movies we’re looking forward to this fall:
