Good God almighty! Being an early adopter of the 3DS XL has never been as excruciating as it is today, with Nintendo‘s announcement of a sleek new NES-themed 3DS XL due to hit the Gamestop stores on October 10, 2014. This is a Gamestop exclusive, I might add, so you’ll have to meet their standard pre-order inquiries if you want to get your hands on one of them.
This adds to a selection of themed 3DS XL systems coming out this holiday season, like the previously announced Super Smash Bros. 3DS XL, and this recently revealed Persona Q-themed version:
All you need is 199 bones and any of these sexy limited edition 3DS XL systems can be all yours. Another interesting thing to note: neither the NES-themed 3DS XL nor the Persona Q-themed 3DS XL come with any games or content, just the hardware. That said, next week’s Super Smash Bros. bundle may be the best bet for those looking to get the most bang for their buck.

i would buy it just to keep it in that packaging, but since theres a New 3ds model coming out, im not gonna be buying this anytime soon
It looks sexy but, I will stick with my pokemon 3DS XL.
Yes, buying a new version of a nearly-outdated console seems like a plan.
It does look nice though.
