Holiday Gift Guide 2015: The TV Obsessive

It was the ultimate television obsessive who said it best: “There are only two things I love in this world: television, and everyone.” Sure, Kenneth “The Page” Parcell was a TV god among men during his 30 Rock days, but it’s a sentiment that rings true during this holiday season—especially folks who really love the magic of the small screen. But while some people are naturally really, really good at picking out presents for people, the rest of us might be on the strugglebus. Some plan months and months in advance, picking up teeny trinkets here and there, figuring out who gets what in a handy list like they’re some sorta newfangled Santa Claus. For the rest, knowing what to get someone for the holidays is as hard as recounting what Mr. Robot did during one of his blackouts.

That’s why we here at Nerdist have put on our customer service hats (they’re pink and very fancy) to help you help yourselves in finding the perfect gift for that special friend, family member, or random colleague, and to ensure your present-giving skills are on point—especially if they’re a big ol’ fan of television.

So we collected a few trinkets and baubles and gewgaws and items that any small screen obsessive would love to have in their arsenal. From Game of Thrones to Doctor Who to Orphan Black and more—if you’re a lass or lad with a penchant for programming, we’ve got a veritable smorgasbord of ideas for the boobtube aficionados you know and love.
