Uh oh! If you’ve caught a glimpse of Pokémon Shuffle on the Nintendo 3DS, you know how time-sucking the game can be. For those who love to live dangerously and/or on the edge of a slippery slope, all you’ll need is a smartphone to slide right into your next addiction. As part of their previously announced initiative to bring their games to the mobile space, Nintendo has announced that Pokémon Shuffle is now available for iOS and Android. It’s basically Bejeweled with Pokémon battles that are contingent upon your success at matching lines of three Pokémon. Here’s the desciption from Nintendo themselves:
“In Pokémon Shuffle Mobile, your goal is to clear stages and deal damage to the wild Pokémon you face by lining up three of the same Pokémon and removing these matches from the puzzle area.”
Pokémon Shuffle is a free-to-play game that hit the Nintendo 3DS back in February, and contained microtransactions after players reached level 11. I think it’s safe to assume that this will be the case for the mobile version of the game as well. As if Fallout Shelter and Hearthstone weren’t taking enough enough of my free time. Hop on over to the Google Play or iTunes App store if you dare.
