Hey, Look, An Animation Scholarship from Warner Bros.

Here’s something for you budding animation stars out there. Are you a graduating high school student enrolling in a college, university, or trade school? Are you interested in studying animation?

If you answered yes, you should know that Warner Bros. dropped us a note to let everyone know that they’re offering a 2013 Warner Bros. Animation/Hanna-Barbera Honorship through the Warner Bros. Reach program. They’re going to pick “one outstanding student” to get the scholarship ($10,000 in four equal $2,500 installments in each of four years), which also includes four full-time paid internships at the company during four consecutive summers (starting in the summer right after high school graduation) while you remain enrolled in college. Make it through the program successfully and you’ll be eligible for full-time employment at Warner Bros. Money towards school and maybe even a cool job at one of the biggest and most storied Hollywood animation studios? Yeah, you might just want that. (Again, though, you gotta be a graduating high school student enrolling in college, university, or trade school to study animation. Them’s the rules.)

Full details and the application are available by clicking here. The deadline is 5 pm Monday, March 4th, 2013 (by mail or hand delivery, so don’t think you can wait until the last minute and email it in). Get to it.
