A new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises just surfaced. It’s part of a viral campaign that also involves this website, which launched earlier today with the arrest warrant for “John Doe aka ‘The Batman’,” alleging 6 counts of first degree murder; the “Wanted” poster; and other documentation seeking Batman for the murder of Harvey Dent, with a list of locations in several countries that were hit with Batman-related graffiti (little chalk marks, seen in the trailer). As people submitted the “sightings” at each location via Twitter to this page, the trailer was being unlocked frame-by-frame until, well, it’s here now. That was quick.
The movie, of course, opens on July 20th. You’ll see this trailer on the big screen before The Avengers this weekend. You like?

re: Anne Hathaway as Catwoman
I guess i was quick to pull the trigger, and yeah there were many casting decisons that people thoguh were terrible but ended up being the right choice. She is a good actress and im mostly complaining because i really want to be blown away by this and feel this is the only “bad decision” i can rant on.
And yeah not hundreds i was totally exagerrating that but few come to mind, i just wanted to see everybody thought that Anne HAthaway was the rigth choice or not.
bilal–may you be pleasantly surprised and may my expectations be met.
The movie is going to kick too much ass for one weak part to ruin it, but it’s still better for there to be no weak parts.

Honestly what does everybody think of Anne Hathaway playing Cat woman? I think there are hundreds of candidates that could’ve done a way better job, i don’t think she is suited for this role maybe she’ll prove me wrong and i hope so i don’t want to be disappointed especially with all the hype that this movie has.

I’m choosing to give her the benefit of the doubt and go in without preconceptions. Remember (if you’re old enough)–no one thought Michael Keaton was a good choice in Burton’s Batman movies. Until then, he was mostly a comedic actor. But he was amazing. Iconic.
Hathaway is a good actress, and I believe she can pull it off.
That gave me full body chills/goosebumps for 30 seconds. This looks amazing. I still hope they end the movie by killing Batman. I think it would be the perfect ending to the story arc.
Ok between this and Prometheus June & July are going to be good months indeed.

It feels like if you want a good positive future for podcasts that needs previous retro-inspection Kev is a pretty good choice short of the Ace or Ricky. And of that trio I feel Kev is the most invested in the structure and future of podcasts.
