It might sound insane, but sometimes IÂ miss Fred Durst.
[Ducks as batteries are chucked in my general direction.]
Sure, the Limp Bizkit frontman earned a reputation for acting like a giant, red cap-wearing baby, but, for better or worse, he always provided endless hours of entertainment. It’s probably an unpopular opinion, but IÂ stand by it.
That’s why IÂ was more than a little excited to see this completely nuts and confounding mashup of Bizkit’s big hit “Break Stuff” and the theme from Seinfeld. The clip provides no additional information regarding the impetus that inspired the unnecessary remix, but IÂ can’t help but agree with Mashable‘s reasoning:
“Durst shares the same misanthropic worldview as Jerry and the gang. You can just see Elaine nodding her head in agreement while Durst howls, ‘Everybody sucks. You don’t really know why, but you want justify rippin’ someone’s head off. No human contact. And if you interact, your life is on contract.’”
In case you’ve recently listened to Chocolate Starfish & The Hot Dog Flavored Waterâno judgmentâand now have a sudden urge to see the band live, might we suggest getting a ticket to the band’s upcoming show on March 14 at the Epicenter in Inglewood, California?
That appears to be your only chance to catch Limp Bizkit stateside for the rest of 2015.
Unless you feel like flying to Kazakhstan. (Again, we support your choices.) They’ll be playing Event Arena / ÐÐ²ÐµÐ½Ñ ÐÑена on November 29.
