Hayley Atwell Tweets Hilariously from the Set of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Oh Peggy Carter, how we love thee. The First Lady of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as played by the immensely talented Hayley Atwell, first captivated us when she stole her every scene in Captain America: The First Avenger, then cemented our devotion when she headlined her very own TV show Agent Carter — the first show from Marvel Studios to focus on a solo hero. Of course it was great to see Peggy appear, however briefly, in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron. We’re certainly looking forward to Peggy showing up in this summer’s Ant-Man. And don’t even get us started on how thrilled we are that Agent Carter has been renewed for a second season on ABC, which will run two episodes longer than Season 1 (for a full ten episodes)!

The latest bit of excitement to come from Camp Carter arrives via Atwell herself, who’s been tweeting up a storm since she arrived on the set of Captain America: Civil War (due out on May 6, 2016).

Atwell tweeted her arrival last Thursday, with a photo of her and Civil War co-writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely…
