Hasbro Unveils Luke and Rey Figures from STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI

If there’s one thing that takes nerds back to when they were kids, it’s Star Wars toys. Whether our bedrooms featured Han frozen in carbonite or General Grievous with four lightsabers, Star Wars figures were staples for many of us. Now it’s time for The Last Jedi to get the toys it deserves.

Rey And Luke

The first two unveiled are Rey and Luke as they will appear in the new film, and they’ll be podracing (maybe I’m getting my Star Wars generations mixed up) down to San Diego Comic-Con today through Sunday. If you can’t make it to Comic-Con, fear not. They will also be available for purchase online for $50 starting in September.

Luke and Rey

Now let’s get to the toys themselves. Unlike Star Wars Monopoly, which still does not come with a Rey piece, Rey is in full force here. She comes equipped with her blaster, staff, and Luke’s old lightsaber. Her use of Luke’s blade may indicate that she won’t be forging her own lightsaber like so many Jedi before her. Or at least not yet. Luke, on the other (robotic) hand, comes with no extra pieces, just his white cloak and robes. Hopefully we’ll see the return of Luke’s green lightsaber, but we won’t know for sure until the film comes out. Or until another toy reveals it.

Are you going to force pull these toys from San Diego to you? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter.
