“Gun Machine,” the Trailer, Narrated by Wil Wheaton

As a follow-up to the Nerdist podcast with Warren Ellis, here’s a very cool trailer posted by Mulholland Books today promoting “Gun Machine,” with Wil Wheaton reading from the book and Ben Templesmith drawing/animating. If you weren’t sold on the book before, and the podcast didn’t close the deal (although I imagine it probably did), this video is pretty persuasive.

And if you need more, here’s a synopsis:

After a shootout claims the life of his partner in a condemned tenement building on Pearl Street, Detective John Tallow unwittingly stumbles across an apartment stacked high with guns. When examined, each weapon leads to a different, previously unsolved murder. Someone has been killing people for twenty years or more and storing the weapons together for some inexplicable purpose.

Yeah, see? Great premise, great writer. You can buy it from Amazon by clicking here, from the iTunes store by clicking here, and from Barnes and Noble by clicking here.

Ellis didn’t have to FALL too far to find his artist for this.
