Geek Chic Office Apparel Fit for an Asgardian CEO

The world of geek fashion is constantly evolving. Women have more options than ever before. We finally got non-unisex t-shirts. We started drowning in nerdy legging options. Then came dresses and everyday cosplay apparel. And now, we can go corporate. Though some geek apparel can be worn into the office, very few pieces are appropriate for the corporate world, at least beyond business casual. Elhoffer Design is changing that.

Elhoffer has just released Mischief Office Wear. Inspired by the color scheme of Marvel’s Loki, the green and black blazer and dress are ready for your next important conference. Made from ponte fabric, the jacket and dress are high quality, stretchy, and incredibly flattering (I’ve tried them on). The blazer has functional pockets and is cut in a lo-hi design, which means it won’t flare weirdly over your hips. Look:

If Loki was a CEO, he’d so wear this.

The gold trim around the lapel on the blazer and on the dress below is a zipper. Little touches like that make all the difference. It adds elegance and somehow makes the blazer look more powerful. Just the thought of wearing this striking outfit makes me feel more confident—like I could walk into a board room and own it.

There’s even an epaulette! It’s held in place with pins and is easily removed. It adds a bit of a punk touch, but if you don’t want to have that in the office, you can leave the epaulette at home.

To fully appreciate the details, jump to the gallery below to see additional photos. As you can see, the blazer and dress complement each other but can definitely be worn separately. The versatile blazer would look great with jeans or a pencil skirt. And oh, the accessory potential.

You can pre-order the blazer and dress at Elhoffer Design’s website. Prices start at $185 and there’s a discount for purchasing both. They’re slated to ship by late August. Keep up with all Elhoffer’s latest creations by following her on Instagram.

If you could have a chic blazer inspired by any comic book character, who would it be? Let me know in the comments.
