For those not frolicking about in the many toy boxes of Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, I welcome you to another edition of Gaming Daily. Today, we’ve got some competitive gaming, an unfortunate game cancellation, and new Gamestop policies that are relevant to that very game that released today. So, about that competitive gaming: it looks like those Nerdist dweebs have gone and gotten themselves into another Injustice showdown. We trumped DC All Access before and now it’s time for our next challenge. Scroll down to see how we fared.
How good are you on your comic book trivia? If your answer to that is better than “sufficient,” then I implore that you to join Dan, Jessica and myself as we get put to the test by the great folks of Smosh Games in their latest episode of Button Bash. Despite the tough questions, I’m confident that most of you may do just fine on the trivia. But if you really want to challenge yourself, try answering these questions while fighting for your life in a game of Injustice.
After seven years, Blizzard cancels MMO title Titan.
It happened with Warcraft Adventures, it happened to StarCraft Ghost, and now it’s happening with Titan. Blizzard has decided to pull the plug on their MMO project of seven years, according to an earlier report by Polygon. The game was never officially announced and it’s probably because the folks at Blizzard didn’t feel like it was a fun game.
“We had created World of Warcraft, and we felt really confident that we knew how to make MMOs,” said Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime, “So we set out to make the most ambitious thing that you could possibly imagine. And it didn’t come together. We didn’t find the fun, we didn’t find the passion. We talked about how we put it through a reevaluation period, and actually, what we reevaluated is whether that’s the game we really wanted to be making. The answer is no.”
One thing I have to admit, Blizzard is all about their quality and will cancel a game the day before it releases if that means preserving their track record of delivering content of the highest quality. Kudos to you as always, Blizzard.

Gamestop taking trade-ins for Skylanders/Disney Infinity figures.
Earlier today, I called up Gamestop to ask them the trade-in value on Disney Infinity figurines. As expected, the rates are not the most consumer friendly, but at least the option is there for people who don’t intend to collect the figurines and don’t mind suffering a loss. And just in time for the release of Disney Infinity 2.0.
