Gaming Daily- CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS III Zombies Officially Revealed

You know it’s Comic-con time when you walk by a “Weapons Check” sign. Of course, I don’t mean lethal weapons, but simply cosplay weapons. One day in and it’s already been one for the books, besides the whole spotty Wi-Fi situation, of course. That’s neither here nor there, because what’s important is the plethora of gaming news popping up from various panels. This morning edition of Gaming Daily features the first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies, a new look Ken is looking fierce in Street Fighter V, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be packaged with Xbox One.

Zombies COD BLOPS III

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies gets revealed with a new trailer.

Treyarch has finally unveiled the reveal trailer for the fan favorite zombie mode, which will be featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Unlike the single player campaign, the newly announced cooperative multiplayer mode called “Shadows of Evil” will be set in the “gritty” 1940s, and will include some era appropriate weapons– some with a twist to add that extra oomph. Handling the hordes of undead should be as fun as always.

A star-studded cast will also be voicing the characters in the mode as well. Here’s a quick list of the sweet voices you can expect: Jeff Goldbum, Heather Graham, Neil McDonough, Ron Perlman, and Robert Picardo. Der Reise, a previous map, will also be remade and repurposed to fit the old-time setting.

You can watch the whole reveal trailer above for a better look at what’s to come.

Capcom reveals new look Ken for Street Fighter V.

At today’s Street Fighter V panel, Capcom treated attendees to a nice little reveal of a familiar face in new duds–Ken Masters. He will now rock a longer hair style– a Steven Seagal-esque ponytail– and a new move set that’s tailored for more aggressive play styles. From the small amount of footage shown off, I’m intrigued to see more of how much he differentiates from Ryu. He may even become a dark horse option for pro competitors. I can’t wait to watch the fighting game community learn all of his intricacies. Take a look at the whole trailer above.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will now be packaged with base Xbox Ones.

Microsoft announced that every new Xbox One will be packaged with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition starting on August 25th. The news has been confirmed by studio head, Rod Fergusson, at the GoW Comic-con panel. This is great news for those that have been waiting for an opportune moment to snatch up an Xbox One. It will include a classic game, and will be here in time to prep for Halo 5. The package will retail at $349 according to Microsoft’s official site.

For the most part, gamers have voiced their disdain towards simply up-resing older titles, but The Coalition seems to be doing things right with this upcoming release. The newly named developer has revamped the graphics and even upgraded some in game systems to be more sensible for current time third-person shooters. This should be a huge Winter holiday for Microsoft, considering the behemoth AAA titles they have lined up.
