Since we know you’re in the midst of getting over the Monday blues and still reeling from all of the Batman: Arkham Knight excitement, we’ve compiled a list of a couple of news stories you may have missed today. In today’s Gaming Daily, Bungie released a new video for their upcoming Destiny DLC, some guy got a PS1 emulator to work on an Android device, and we learned that Hatoful Boyfriend will be flapping its wings to the PS4 and PS Vita in 2015.
Bungie teases first Destiny expansion with trailer.Â
With the launch of Destiny Expansion I: The Dark Below only a few weeks away, Bungie has revealed an official video detailing all the things we’ll see in the upcoming DLC pack out December 9, 2014 . According to the trailer, story is the core focus this time around, which is a relief especially after all the flack the title got for its lack thereof.
Eris Morn is the new NPC who will not only sell loot but also be the main quest giver for three brand new story missions. Also, the strike will be integrated into the storyline this time around, which will help make it one cohesive package. It appears that Bungie has really taken what people have said to heart in order to craft an enjoyable experience.
One of the most interesting things mentioned in the video however, is the new raid “Crota’s End.” While the theme of the previous raid “Vault of Glass” was descent (if you played it you know what I mean), the theme of this one will be one-way trip. If it’s anything like the first one, we should be in for a treat.
Someone got a PS1 emulator working on an Android Watch.
If you were a fan of video game watches back in the day, this is the story for you. A YouTube user named EpicLPer has managed to get a PlayStation emulator working on his Android device. In the video above, you’ll see him testing out a completely playable version of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. Although playing on such a tiny screen is probably impractical, it’s still a pretty cool thing to show off to your friends when you’re in need of a nostalgia boost.
Hatoful Boyfriend to hit PS4 and PS Vita in 2015
Remember the remake of the pigeon dating sim that released a few months ago? Well, Devolver Digital revealed today that it will be coming to the PS4 and PS Vita in the second quarter of 2015.
If you’re wondering about the pigeon-filled plot, the official PlayStation Blog gives you the rundown: “As the only human student at the prestigious St. PigeoNationâs Institute, a school for talented birds, you will roam the halls and find love in between classes as a sophomore student at the worldâs greatest pigeon high school.”
If that sounds like something you’re into, you won’t have to wait too long.
