It’s the freaking weekend and day three at San Diego Comic-Con, everybody. While it’s admittedly been pretty light on the news front this week, I’ve taken shelter for the chaos of the show floor to keep you informed and up to date on what you may have missed throughout the last day. In today’s Gaming Daily: Mojang says Minecraft could still come to Nintendo consoles, one lucky SDCC attendee isn’t that excited about the new Xbox One he won, and CD Projekt Red released the full patch notes for The Witcher 3‘s next big update.
According to Mojang, there’s still a chance Minecraft could make it to Nintendo consoles.
Well, look what we have here. During MINECON last week, Mojang COO Vu Bui had some rather interesting things to tell MCV about Minecraft. According to his remarks, the company is setting their sights on other platforms. When asked about the franchise hopping over to Nintendo consoles, Bui didn’t rule it out.
âIf I had my way, weâd be on everything,â COO Vu Bui said.âWe want to continue to be available to all players, and that means being on new platforms because everyone uses something different.â
On showing up on Nintendo, Bui remarked, “Iâve never heard a reason why we havenât ended up on Wii U or 3DS. It just hasnât happened yet.â
This, of course, doesn’t confirm anything, but at least they haven’t counted Ninty out yet. You have to admit, both the Wii U and 3DS would make great homes for the block-building franchise. The stylus and touch screen seem tailor-made for building your own fortresses, mining, and more. Here’s to hoping it happens one day.

This guy couldn’t contain his excitement for the brand new Xbox One he won at SDCC
Well, I guess you can’t please everyone. If you’re at Comic-Con, you’re probably already aware of the fact that Microsoft is on the floor and giving away free goodies to a select group of lucky fans. You’d probably think the most coveted prize would be the Xbox One, right? Wrong. Well, at least for one lucky (or not so lucky?) fan who attended the convention this week.
As you’ll see in the video above, after spinning the special prize wheel, the fan was one of the few to land on the new console. When they asked him if he was excited about winning it, he half heartedly said “yay”, and that was about it. Sure, maybe he already had one at home somewhere, or maybe he was just shy. Whatever the case, it was still funny to watch and has gone viral since the video hit the web yesterday.

The Witcher 3 patch notes are here.
Earlier this week, we heard news about some of the changes that were coming to The Witcher 3 via the next update. We already knew Geralt was getting an alternate movement mode, player storage was being added, and weight requirements for both alchemy and crafting components was being removed with patch 1.07, but didn’t know what else to expect as the list of changes was yet to be complete. Though we still don’t know when the massive update is coming, CD Projekt Red confirmed the rest of the fixes coming to the title.
From the looks of the list–which we won’t paste in the post, but you can find here–most of it is dedicated to fixing issues people have been having with the game’s quests. So, odds are, if you ran into problems like characters not spawning, not being able to interact with things and more, the issues will be gone now.
Want to find out what they’re changing, make sure to head on over to The official Witcher 3 forum site to check it out.
