GAME OF THRONES’ Maisie Williams Launches YouTube Channel

Arya Stark: daughter, killer, servant of The Many-Faced god, and now a YouTube star, because Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams launched her own channel today with a Q&A to celebrate hitting one million followers on Twitter.

The lighthearted video covers a lot of fun, personal items and reaffirms Williams’ place as the world’s Coolest British Teen, but being that we are, first and foremost, Watchers on the Wall, her insights into Game of Thrones were the most exciting for us. Naturally there are spoilers ahead for the first 5 seasons of the show.

One fan asked, “Have you ever cried because of Game of Thrones?” Turns out that our favorite little assassin was moved to tears because of love, naming Ygritte’s death as the one that got her.

Another fan wanted to know what co-star Sophie Turner smells like, but you’ll want to watch for the response to that question.

Williams was asked about the contacts she’ll be wearing in season 6 to make her blind, but we didn’t get an actual answer for that, just a sorry if she spoiled her character’s season 5 ending. Oh…oops. She did answer a question about how fame has impacted her friendships, though (it has). But instead of feeling down about it, she posited instead, “I think I’ve just grown to realize that it’s about quality and not quantity, so I’m happy.”

She says she doesn’t plan on making videos all that frequently, so we’ll keep an eye out for when she does post a new one.

What question would you like to ask Maisie Williams? Give us your best ones here in the comments and maybe she’ll get to it in the future. Just “not today.”
