Gallery 1988, the Los Angeles based gallery known for their pop culture art exhibitions like the recent Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Exhibit and the long running “Crazy 4 Cult” art shows, featuring artwork based on various beloved cult classic movies and television shows, has announced the long awaited Joss Whedon inspired exhibit. Website Rise Up Daily revealed the following image which bluntly states the what, the when, and the where.
Seems pretty straightforward to me. According to Rise Up Daily, Gallery 1988 will open their partnership with Joss Whedon  in a show presenting art inspired by his beloved creations like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly/Serenity, Dollhouse, Much Ado About Nothing, and, of course, Marvel’s The Avengers and probably even the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron. (Heck, you might even see art based on his work on Toy Story or Alien: Resurrection. He worked on those too after all.)  Joss Whedon will reportedly be in attendance at the opening, so if you’re in the Los Angeles area and are a loyal Whedonite, this is a show you might want to mark on your calendar right now. Rise Up Daily suggests that this show is gearing up to be their  biggest show since the gallery began.
Visit Gallery 1988’s website for locations and hours, and keeping checking back here for more information as it becomes available.
I bet the art exhibit is just photos of your friends being killed without fanfare.
Don’t forget Roseanne!
There will be nothing Avengers or Toy Story related.
