FXX To Air All 552 SIMPSONS Episodes Back-To-Back Starting In August

A while back, FXX signed a massive cable syndication deal for exclusive rights to all past and future episodes of Fox’s The Simpsons. To launch the beginning of the deal, which will also see all episodes become available on the FXNow app, the comedy network will be airing a marathon that will feature all 552 episodes airing consecutively, starting August 21st.

Yes, you read that right. From August 21st to September 1st, every episode of The Simpsons will air non-stop for an entire 12 days. No reruns, no breaks. It won’t matter if it’s 8 pm, 1 am or 3 pm, FXX is going to make it possible for you to get a full load of The Simpsons at any time. It’s a brilliant move by the network that says, “hey, you like your Homer? Good, because this is where you’ll be able to find him for the foreseeable future.” (Broadcast syndication of past episodes will continue on local stations, and first-run episodes will continue to air on the Fox broadcast network.)

Following the conclusion of the marathon, the network will begin airing the episodes in four hour blocks every Sunday leading up to the season 26 premiere.

Do you plan on watching the marathon starting in August?
