MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE Funko Pops! Battle it Out This Fall

We’re mere days away from the North American release of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. We’ve been through the trailers, we’ve ogled all the artwork, and we’ve seen the story demo. We’re absolutely itching to play it on September 19, 2017 and have high hopes it’ll be one of the better games of the year. It seems our pals of plastic purveyance over at Funko feel the same way, because they just announced a slew of Pop! vinyls for the game.

What makes these particularly neat is Funko’s choice to pair each of them up in two-packs. You’re always choosing a duo in the game so why make it any different in adorable vinyl toy form?

The character designs are pretty darn great considering what we’ve seen in the trailers, and Funko even went so far as to do some variant color costumes (see the gallery below) just like you’d get in almost any fighting game.

A recent Funko blog post details which pairs are exclusive to certain retailers (Hot Topic, GameStop, FYE, and Toys “R” Us) and we have to admit we might make a whole day of it tracking them all down.

These dueling duos are due out in November and we’re sure that it’s just the beginning of a long and varied list of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite characters to be Pop!-ified. Though, does anyone really need any other character when we have the chance to get our very own Major Carol Danvers in her bad-ass flight jacket?

The answer is no. No we don’t. But we’re still going to get them all. What else goes on our bookshelves? Books?! Yuck!

Take a look at the gallery below for more photos and let’s discuss your favorite in the comments!
