Funko POP! Releasing AGENT CARTER Figure in August

Funko’s adorable line of POP! vinyl figures is about to get 200% more badass. In their Marvel-branded roster, Agent Carter is getting her very first collectible figure! This is certainly welcome news for Marvel fans, whose options for awesome lady action figures is not quite as robust as, say, the 367 variations of Spider-Man and the 213 versions of Iron Man found on Big Box Store shelves. Funko POP! figures are known for their bobble head style, and the forthcoming Agent Carter is no different. Based on Hayley Atwell’s portrayal of Peggy, the figure features her signature red hat and blue skirt-suit, and has her holding the Blitzkrieg Button (a.k.a. the vial of Cap’s blood–cuuuute) from the first half of season one.

The figure is scheduled to be released in August this year, and it can be pre-ordered now from Entertainment Earth if you’d like to be one of the first to add a mini-Peggy to your desk, or shelf, or mantle, or your super top secret spy base. Season two of Marvel’s Agent Carter is still slated for a midseason air date, so you’ll have plenty of time between August and the winter season premiere to pick one up! There are no announced plans to expand into more figures from the series, but given Funko’s track record, it’s not a stretch to imagine a tiny version of Howard Stark joining the Marvel POP! lineup. After all, who else is going to be around to give Peggy all that grief? Every secret agent needs a tiny genius rapscallion around to give them heartburn.
